Congratulations to Head Chef John Ferguson of FoodSpace Ireland at Abbott Nutrition Cootehill on becoming the first allergen accredited catering establishment.

Goodrich Training were delighted to have assisted FoodSpace on their allergen & food safety management journey by providing food allergen awareness training to all FoodSpace staff and helping with the development of their allergen management and HACCP plans.

Instead of just assessing the impact of the recent allergen laws such as Food Information to Consumers Regulations (EU 1169/2011) to ensure compliance; we went one step further & helped FoodSpace build an industry best standard allergen management system to give their customers confidence in the food provided by FoodSpace and enabling FoodSpace to become the first Irish caterer to have its systems & procedures verified by Allergen Accreditation – the Irish & UK allergen aware scheme.
