“The Management of Food Safety Programme – The Essential Guide to HACCP Compliance”
The Management of Food Safety Refresher Programme is provided for those who have successfully completed “The Management of Food Hygiene Programme” in the previous 5 years, who now wish to update and refresh their knowledge of food safety. The refresher programme will cover changes in requirements and legislation over recent years. This programme comprises
tuition over 1 full day (or equivalent) with guided home study over a 2 week period.
Participants on the refresher programme are assessed and certified in exactly the same way as the full programme i.e Participants are assessed by a two hour written examination and the completion of a HACCP project. Successful participants will be awarded a pass, credit or distinction and will be issued with a NHP certificate of completion. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to formulate and implement a comprehensive food safety management system and to organise training for their staff. The course complies with the requirements of the FSAI level three guidelines for food safety skills for management and the training requirements of Regulation (EC) 852/2004. Participants achieving a distinction may proceed to the application for licensing as an NHP Food Safety Trainer within one year of certification.
